The weather station

The following comment is from Nicholas, in his words…

We went to the weather station. We went to the earthquake room.

What did you see in the earthquake room?

There was a machine. The machine senses how strong an earthquake. The earthquake that we had last year was  5.  It was cool.  Also we got to make clouds.

How did you make clouds?

We pumped air into the bottle  and we pushed a button on the bottle (to open the bottle).  Then it made cloud. There was a little bit of water because clouds are made of water in the air. It was cool too.

   Looks like it was a very informative field trip. Especially learning to make clouds and going to the earthquake room. Glad you enjoyed it so much.

   Nicholas looks like you were really interested in all the weatherman was telling you and that you were paying very close attention . You can explain it all to Nana and Grandad when we come over

   It was great! I had a lot of fun. My favourite place was the earthquake one because it senses how hard the earthquake is. The one that we had was a five. -Nicholas
