The children worked on their own or with a partner to figure out how the equipment fitted together and what all the bits were for.  Once everyone was able to assemble the Trangias, they learned how to light them. Everybody had a go at striking matches safely and lighting the burners safely.     <\/p>\n<p>Before we knew it, it was time to pack the Trangias away, which took a bit of problem solving. Time flew by so fast that there wasn&#8217;t time to cook the noodles! We decided that it was more important that the children had all the time they needed to experiment with  unpacking and lighting the cooking equipment.
