{"id":818,"date":"2012-01-26T16:50:56","date_gmt":"2012-01-26T07:50:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.yis.ac.jp\/raskinj\/?p=818"},"modified":"2012-01-26T16:50:56","modified_gmt":"2012-01-26T07:50:56","slug":"traditional-tales-readers-theatre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamjamie.me\/yis2r\/2012\/01\/26\/traditional-tales-readers-theatre\/","title":{"rendered":"Traditional Tales &#8211; Reader&#8217;s Theatre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week 2R Book Club took on a different shape when instead of the way we usually work in our reading groups to better understand and creatively respond to our books, we tried out a simple Reader&#8217;s Theatre response.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Reader's Theatre\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Reader%27s_theatre\" target=\"_blank\">Reader&#8217;s Theatre<\/a> is a reading response strategy that we use to deepen and demonstrate text comprehension and improve reading fluency.
