FACTS ABOUT GRAINS
Did you know that brown rice is better than white rice because brown rice has vitamins and fiber and we use less energy. You should have more Grains than the other foods.
Not so healthy Grains:
Pizza crust,pasta,crackers,white,bread,bagels,pretzels.
FACTS ABOUT FRUIT
Did you know that a watermelon is not a big melon it actually is a big berry? Native americans used Pumpkin seeds for medicine.Did you know that pear trees can be as old as 100 years? In china, the peach is a symbol of good luck and long life.Did you know one banana is called a finger and a bunch of bananas are called a hand?
FACTS ABOUT VEGETABLE
Did you know that inside a cucumber it can be 20 degrees cooler than the temperature outside.Tomatoes were once though to be poisonous.Peppers can be red,yellow,orange or purple.String beans were first grown in Mexico more than 7,000 years ago.
FACTS ABOUT PROTEIN ,BEANS AND NUTS
Did you know that there are more chickens on earth than people. Most chickens can lay 255 eggs a year.There are 250,000 different kinds of fish.Some people think that tofu was invented by a Chinese prince who tried to become immortal.Did know you that pumpkin seeds have some fat but the fat is not bad it’s good.
FACTS ABOUT DAIRY
Did you know that milk as fat but it’s ok. Almost every American family had a cow.Did you know that milk has an invisible fat.The first ice-cream was made in Italy.Did you know that milk helps your muscles grow and it helps your teeth and bones get stronger.
WHAT IS A SERVING?
When you talk about food it is useful to now what a serving is. So what is a serving?A serving is something that is the size of your rest.Like for example if you had a peic of bread and you could scwash it into your rest then that would be a serving.Now you know what a serving is.
HOW MANY SERVINGS OF FOOD YOU SHOULD HAVE.
Grains 6-11 servings, Vegetable 3-5 servings, Fruit 2-4 servings, Protein, Beans and nuts 2-3, Dairy 2-3 , Sweets as little as possible and water 5 glasses a day.
HYGIENE
You have to wash your hand for 20 second. And you have to brush your teeth for 3 minutes Keeping your self is also fighting germs.
WHAT IS GERMS?
Germs are little enemy that can make you sick or ill. If you don’t want to get sick, you have to do this:
THINGS YOU HAVE DO TO FIGHT GERMS:
Wash your hand before going to lunch.
Brushing your teeth before going to bed.
Wash your hand after playing with an animal(s)
Do saitiser after you come back from recess.

People sleep for about 1 third of there lives.
